A little known trick I use for travel is a company called eBates, they even gave me 3% cash back when I booked my flight and rental car to Pheonix for next week through Priceline.com. I also know that checking with the airlines directly can sometimes give you the best price (my wife discovered that). Another trick I use is a website called RetailMeNot for my car rentals. Usually I can find some strange coupon code for Hertz or Enterprise that saves me a quick $15-$20. Just some quick tips from someone who travels quite a bit. James

Hmm, most interview invites are distributed through e-mail, so the hand shaking moment while opening a letter excitement described here isn't quite accurate. Good websites for finding cheap fares are kayak.com & sidestep.com (similar to each other) and farecast.com (to see if fares are predicted to rise or fall).
