SDN is a nonprofit web site that started as a grassroots Web community at the University of Kansas in the mid-1990s. Since then, SDN has emerged as one of the most comprehensive and most useful student-driven resources on the Internet.
The Student Doctor Network (SDN) is now the premier website for pre-health students, medical students, dental students, pharmacy students, optometry students, residents, doctors and other health professionals.
SDN provides unbiased and independent information about health professions education.
The Student Doctor Network has significant name recognition in the pre-health and health student communities. Our site includes the largest discussion forum for this community, a very popular “student blog” section, a large links database, interview feedback, weekly news features and much more.
Entirely run by volunteers, the SDN forums provide a place where camaraderie, friendships, and even, rumor has it, marriages, have been formed. Discussion in SDN forums ranges from how to handle test anxiety, to what to do about an incompatible roommate, to feelings of loneliness and confessions of insecurity, to pop culture and dream vacations.
Sponsoring SDN is Easy
There are two main methods of sponsoring SDN – Google AdWords and Forum Sponsorships.
Option One: Google AdWords
Google Adwords handles most ad display management for the Student Doctor Network. Adwords allows you to market on SDN, regardless of the size of your budget.
Your campaign on SDN can be set up to target based on:

Option Two: Forum Sponsorships
Forum sponsorships are available to businesses and organizations offering services that fit within SDN’s core mission.
Sponsor blocks are sold in three-month increments, with competitive flat rates based on expected forum traffic. Individual forums may have up to three sponsors, each with their own dedicated block directly above the posting area. This placement is an excellent way to establish a consistent presence with your target audience.
