Very nice site! I'm a nurse practitioner student as well as a Zen Shiatsu therapist. I intend to focus on Integrative Medicine with a focus on prevention, nutrition, energy medicine, and bodywork. As such, it is interesting to read about OMT. Wish I could find a DO but unfortunately I'm now in Asia. Maybe when I come back to the states in 2007 I can find a DO to do my clinical with!! I like your book references also; more please.
Hello. I am currently and Osteopathic medical student. I just wanted to say that i think that your blog is fantastic. I don't believe that the general public realizes what we as DO's have to offer with respect to current medical treatments. We can diagnose, treat, and prevent common ailments all without the necessity of pharmeceutics. Its a great and interesting field with the propensity for a lot of research into how the human body deals with stresses and its innate ability to heal itself. Keep up the good work. Thanks
