I had an interviwer @ Emory who was a psychologist...from the same hometown too...and she was the most uptight of the people I interviewed with...scripted is the better word. She was the only person in all my interviews to ask "Why should we choose you?"
I would just like a little feedback so I can start shutting this thing down..the fear is that so far I only have 3 that I would be pretty sure to be happy at. WIth is still being fairly early in the process there are bound to be candidates as attractive if not more..so it adds an extra element...
Florida was great. Residents were receptive and seemed to get along very well. faculty is young and many are recent residents. Good interaction btwn residents and attendings. Call is ridiculously resident friendly (4/mnth and its from home). Lots of flexibilty...if you have and interest a way...
I was just curious of the vibe anyone got from Florida...on the trail I have heard that the residents aren't the happiest. Any info would be appreciated.
I have a pretty general question. If a program's application requires AT LEAST three LOR's is it unacceptable to send an extra one? I'm wondering if it affects the perception of the applicant, maybe you are perceived as being unable to follow directions.
