What are the facilities and clinics like (old/new, well maintained, etc.)?

"CMSRU is a new school (2012) but Cooper has been a medical school since the 1980s (used to be part of UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson), so facility buildings are very new since 2012, but the hospital has been teaching med students for decades" | Report Response

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

"Nope" | Report Response

"yes, depends on which type of physician you want to be, CMSRU has a big focus on underrepresented populations so if you want to be involved in hospital medicine, primary care, pediatrics, addiction med, psych, etc., then you are very well prepared" | Report Response

What are rotations like?

"They baby us and don’t prepare to be clinicians" | Report Response

"rotations are all in-house, Cooper is a large health system and the only level 1 trauma center in southern NJ, so all rotations are in their (very large) academic hospital across the street, and outpatient clinic rotations are all within the Cooper health network, the nice part is that you don't have to find any of your rotations yourself since everything is in-house" | Report Response

How do students from this program do in the Match?

"Not well. They send most to the local hospital." | Report Response

"100% match rate for the past 3 years, unsure about before that" | Report Response

Any other information you want to share?

"CMSRU is located in Camden NJ (which is located adjacent to Philadelphia PA), CMSRU is located on the subway line to the center of Philadelphia (Center City), most students live in Center City Philly and take the subway to/from class (8min commute), the school is in Camden NJ but student life outside of class really happens in Philadelphia PA" | Report Response
