"What are your biggest pet peeves? --by a grad student who was just trying to get to know me personality-wise. It caught me off-guard and I couldn't think of anything at first. Also, one of the professor's asked me something specific about the facial expressivity coding system I used in my honor's thesis, which I couldn't remember much about on the spot." "My POIs interests match much closer with mine. The web site is a bit deceiving b/c Dr. Lewine has changed his interests toward more family-based research, which you wouldn't know from his previous publications or the department web site. "The location is not ideal, but I'm definitely considering Louisville. The faculty seem supportive, but it's clear they won't micro-manage your life, so you have to be somewhat of a self-starter. If you're looking for external research funding, then this is probably not your top choice; however, the stipend is quite high so it makes up for it. " More from this Member | Report Response
