"Their office in New York was really nice. The head of the program interviewing me (associate dean of the whole school)I thought was pretty cool, it has another positive side and that is that he can tell you right after the interview that you're accepted, which he did."

"the student body while diverse is segregated: 45% Arabs Christian/Muslim 25% Jewish pre-military students (18 year olds) 30% Jewish post-military students (23+ years old) While diversity is a blessing in most cases, at the Technion it causes acute segregation and hinders the ability of the class to evolve. (true for Israeli MD program not US program)"
"The two interviewers were very cold and unfriendly (I guess normal for Israelis) and the interview was very stiff and not conversational at all."

"It was a stressful interview, but they tell you right after the interview if you're accepted or not so you don't have to kill youself for 2+ weeks thinking on how you did. (maybe only late interviewers are told right after if they are accepted or not)"
