"Tell me about yourself. Why Medicine? Why Howard?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Tell me about your research experience. What do you think about your grades/MCAT scores? " Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Do you think you will have any problems getting into medical school? Apparently, the interview was impressed with my application!" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Why Howard? Why do you not like being labeled as a premed? What problems do you think you'll have in medical school?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Do you think you're going to have problems getting into medical school?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Nothing. This was my third interview so I knew my application pretty well." Report Response
"The interviewer was really nice, the students knew each other really well. The library was nice." Report Response
"Everything else.. (1) Only about 50% of the students pass the USMLE step 1. (2) Many students recommended that we go to Meharry Med instead of Howard. (3) The school was really unorganized. We waited for the entire day. " Report Response
"I learned that the admissions office gives people their interviews on a first come, first serve basis. So if you are the last one to arrive to the interview scene, be ready to wait all day (til 5pm) for your interview. And bring a good book because the admissions people don't have much to say." Report Response
"This school should be ashamed of itself and I wouldn't doubt it if they soon lose their accreditation. Many of the students complained about the professors. They also complained about how unorganized the school was. My interviewer also mentioned that the school admits people who wouldn't necessarily be accepted at other schools. So basically, this is the slum of medical schools. But the students seemed to be somewhat happy." Report Response
