"Read over the website, interview feedback, mock interview." Report Response
"The students are Columbia are the most passionate ones I have seen, they absolutely love the school and went out of their way to answer our questions and talk to us about the school. The faculty were also very helpful and seemed to have a strong interest in students and providing them with a great learning environment. The pass-fail system for the first year is good, so that with all the stress of first year, you don't have to obsess over grades as well. Although others have said the students were cocky, they were really friendly and down to earth in my opinion. Also, Columbia has the top board scores (or among the top) in the country, which is awesome and shows that even though they are still into traditional lecture format, it is very effective. The other thing that was impressive to me was that the interviewer thoroughly read my file and knew a lot about me ahead of time." Report Response
"The location is not so great, and Bard is a bit run-down, but has a great view of the Hudson. Education-wise though, nothing negatively impressed me (except that if you are interested in primary care, the student tour guide said that it's not the best school to attend)." Report Response
"That I would fall in love with Columbia P&S :o)!" Report Response
"It was a great interview experience, one of the best I have had. The students were friendly, tour guides were very honest about the school and despite some faults, were very passionate about it and happy to be there. The interview was very low-stress and mainly centered on my other activities that were not related to medicine." Report Response
