"How do you deal with stress and do you believe that will work in medical school" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Tell me about your class in Clinical ethics. (he just chose randomly from my transcripts)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Are you sure you want to be a doctor? It is very difficult/stressful/time- consuming/horrible. Do you have what it takes? Do you ever think about just doing something easier? My first interviewer basically drilled me on my decision to pursue medicine. I think he was just trying to see how I would defend myself and prove to him that this is what I wanted to do. In the end, he said he should give me his daughter's number becuase I could do a good job of talking her into medicine. So I suppose he liked my answer and does not actually dislike being a physician as much as he implied. " Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Where else have you applied and where have you been accepted?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Prove to me that you want to be a doctor and that will be able to succeed" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Read over my application, SDN website, MCW website, prepared answers to practice questions provided by my school" Report Response
"Reputation of the school. Organization of the interview day. Simulation labs (for cardiology, anesthesiology, obstectrics) that are amazing and brand new. " Report Response
"Was not told much about social/extracurricular activities of the students. Did not get a good feel for how students get along at the school. They may get along great, but the social aspect of the school was still very unkown to me when I left. The entire area is very much under construction. I imagine the appearance of the school will be much more attractive when it is finished." Report Response
"Children's hospital is ranked third in the nation. They have, I believe, 5 different hospitals attatched to the main medical school. I did not realize that they had such a medical community connected to and affiliated with the medical school. " Report Response
"Everyone was very nice. The number of applicants at the interview was much larger than any other interview I've had. Approximately 60 people were there interviewing with me. It is a good idea to get to know people around you becuase there is some down time before and after the interviews, and it gets a bit boring/stressful if you just sit there." Report Response
