"How are you doing this semester gradewise? What happened with you PAT score? (17--much lower than my other scores) " Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Why UDM? Why are you willing to pay the higher tuition compared to U of Mich?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"What do you do when you are stressed out? Tell me about your volunteer experiences." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"How do you feel about cheating? What if you saw someone cheating? (think: what if someone cheats in professional school? what are the ethical complications associated with a professional who will cheat? will they lie to their patients? provide inadequate care? etc.)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Nothing. The questions were open ended and were worded, "Tell me about your experience with..." rather than asking for something specific" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Went over possible questions, read SDN experiences for UDM and other dental schools, researched school" Report Response
"Everyone was so genuinely nice and sincere, not only at my interview but with every contact I've had with the school throughout the year...UDM is known for its awesome clinical experience and its new facility" Report Response
"The tour was very quick and given by the admissions secretary because no student was available. She was as helpful as she could be but the student led tours are probably better. I had previously taken a tour at the UDM open house that was much more informative." Report Response
"I love this school and although I have interviews at 4 other schools I am canceling them because UDM is my first choice. I love that they are always keeping me updated on my application through the mail and also that the school itself never acts like its too good for anyone. For example, rather than saying "Your DAT score is too low for us, you'll never get in" they suggest that you probably were not as prepared as you could have been and they would like to see you take the test again and improve. YES ITS IN A BAD AREA but that is an asset because of all the patients that come to the school for care. You get an amazing clinical experience compared to other schools. I was accepted 3 days after my interview." Report Response
