"There are no one-on-one questions. The whole interview is conducted through a mock PBL case. A group of applicants are monitored by a member of the admissions staff as your group fumbles through the rediculous PBL case they give you.(Kind of scares me that they don't interview each applicant individually)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"SDN and spoke to a current D1 at the school" Report Response
"The facilities are nice" Report Response
"The lack of organization on the part of the admissions staff. Some of them were unprofessional at times and seemed as though they were being burdend by having to conduct the interviews." Report Response
"I have always thought of SC as a great school with a great reputation in the dental community but unfortunately don't feel that way more. I've heard a lot of negative comments about PBL (or USC's way of implementing it)but went to the interview with an open mind expecting to be impressed by the school and the new program. Unfortunately the opposite happend. I just don't think spending $300K on a dental school whose primary learning tools for the first two years are giant sticky-notes and magic markers is a wise choice for me. But that's only my oppinion." Report Response
