What impressed you positively?

"Interviews are over the course of four hours with breaks, a tour, and an essay in between. You are suppose to interview with a student and an alumni and then a student and a teacher. I never met with an alumni, i met with both teachers and students. Campus is great. Good resources because the MD, DDS kids are there too. Students were really helpful in touring and providing details to student life." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"One of the interviewers was extremely distant..It was hard to keep constant connection with her..." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Parking was easy, practice the route the night before..because its downtown Richmond, watch out for random saturday events" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"It was a saturday interview. Very flexible and relaxing atmosphere. Only about 20 kids. They made it seem as if you had a reallly strong chance of getting in, just by being there at the interview. Got an acceptance letter for the school about one month later. VCU only gives you about a one week window to reply back with a 500 dollar deposit. So keep that in consideration when applying to other schools, as your spot could be given up if you are too late in responding." Report Response
