"My first interview was the most stressfull of my entire application cycle. This suprised me since most interviewees/past student said that their interviews were chill. The guy was a PhD and kept questioning/commenting on almost every sentence that left my mouth. Don'e get me wrong, he was super nice, but just wanted to delve into detail about everying phrase that came out of my mouth. His questions were basic: Tell me about yourself? Why medicine? What experiences have led you here? By the end of the interview, he said he hopes to see me at UCSF which was nice, but man did he stress me out. If you get someone like this, remain calm, and clearly think and talk through your answers. In the end, I actually liked the interview because it made me deeply think about why I was going into medicine." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"My second interviewer was very relaxed. The same basic questions, but he was a lot better at leading the blind interview and not digressing. Nothing tricky here." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Specific questions about public health and health education. (I lead him to these tpoics so dont worry if it is not your forte)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Pretty much every question my first interviewer asked lol." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"SDN, AMCAS, getting to know myself. In hindsight, I would really reccomend practicing a way to get "your story" out the the admissions committee. They don;t want a cookie cutter applicant, but someone who has PASSION in whatever it is they do." Report Response
"Everything. Students, opportunities, location, the non-snootyness of a top 5 school." Report Response
"The only thing (which didn't even bother me that much) was the the facilities are slightly older and worn. Other than that, nothing." Report Response
