"What is your name? (seriously, because there is NO INTERVIEW)." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Where did you go to college?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Tell me something fun you did this weekend." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"N/A - there is no interview, but you still have to go to the MCV. This is basically an information session on the school, financial aid, and a forum to ask questions about the school." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"During the group "breakout" session we had to introduce ourselves and tell everyone something fun we did over the weekend. This was not difficult, obviously. The essay is the only thing they evaluate as far as the MCV (I think?). My question was something along the lines of: if you plan to work during pharmacy school how will you balance the rigors of coursework with your job?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"I read about the school and went over my personal statements. I made sure I knew what to say if they asked me why I want to be a pharmacist. They never asked. " Report Response
"The dean, the admissions people and the faculty seem very excited about the school. That really made me more interested in the program than I was prior to the MCV." Report Response
"They give you a lot of information that seems relevant only if you are already accepted to the school. For example: where to go to get immunizations completed and specifics on the financial aid office." Report Response
"It was informative and good to hear perspectives on the school from students, the dean, admissionsa and faculty. I was impressed with the school. I think they could make it more clear that the essay is the only thing they are evaluating. I guess, unless you really make a fool of yourself, the essay is the only thing they evaluate. (???).
