What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 1)?

"Tell us about yourself. It said it was a practice question, so I was confused if they counted it or not. I contacted admissions and they said they review it and consider it." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 2)?

"Project-Based Learning. The school has unusual learning styles that they talk about a lot. One is a Problem/Project style were you act out case studies. It was what is PBL, will it be good for you, which style will be the best for you." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 3)?

"I believe they asked about preference of medical practice and work environment. I am not 100% sure that was asked though." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most interesting question?

"Define Professionalism. What it is and what it means to you. This school has a large focus on medical professionalism and medical leadership. It is not bad, but I believe the students are required to have business professional attire on at all times." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"What is something unique that you would bring to the team, and strength and weakness question. I just choked on this question by stuttering and was not able to get my confidence back." Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"SDN, practicing, making sure nothing was in view during the recording, wearing a suit, normal professional things." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Location -Florida. That's the greatest factor it has going for it in my opinion. I was rejected, but I feel like I would not be a good fit for it, possibly. I was using it as interview practice, so my heart was not in it that could be why I had a bad experience. Looks like a great school though, I just dont like the admin parts of it." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"It was asynchronous. There was a 2 minute video before each question, they brag about some aspect of the school then ask you a simi related question. You then have 1 chance to record a est. 1.5-2 min response. The software was confusing at first, I was unsure when the recording part actually started. Then I was rejected even though my MCAT and GPA are way above the standard. I was just using the school to practice for MD interviews, but when they rejected me they didnt just email me, they made me log into the application website. They took like a month to make a decision. Worst interview process ever, and it was hurtful to insult applicants with an asynchronous interview." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I had everything I needed. Just focus on SND questions the most popular responses will be on there." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Looked like a great school. Great campus, great area. I don't know if it would be as enjoyable of experience as other schools, but I would not be mad to go to school there. The admission and interview process is by far the worst part of this school. They are far below the standard of any DO/MD school I have experienced." Report Response

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

"Quicker response times. They also don't answer any questions, they will refer you to the website that does not answer your question. The asynchronous interview is borderline bad business practice. Applicants pay money to be seriously considered. You dont owe them a seat, but you should respect them and their time." Report Response
