Please help me decide between NYMC & Netter!

Received a 20K yearly tuition scholarship with Netter and 15K yearly tuition scholarship with NYMC, so tuition is not a factor in my decision making.

Clinical exposure during first 2 yearsMeSH program - You are paired 1:1 with a physician mentor longitudinally through the entire academic year and are in the clinic every week with them practicing interviewing, physical exam techniques etc. with patients.
  1. BUT, MeSH sites can be up to a 60 minute drive (and even more) depending on which mentor you get placed with. Drive is this much for clinical rotations later on as well.
As part of the first-year Foundations of Clinical Medicine course, students are paired one-on-one with a primary care physician for the entire year (meet monthly) where they interact with patients to refine their communication and history taking skills. Regular patient contact and physician mentoring continues in the second year of Foundations of Clinical Medicine where the educational focus shifts to the development of diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills in either office or hospital settings.
Research OpportunitiesScholarly Reflection and Concentration Capstone - Research is built into the curriculum with the Capstone part of the curriculum.
  1. Lottery to perform research at Yale (approximately 10 out of the 90 students in the class get chosen)
  2. Little research done at the institution itself
  3. Have to find research in the community via mentors
More research opportunities available
  1. Most students do research after their first year
  2. Not required part of the curriculum
Lecture structureLectures are not mandatory
  1. Zoom recordings are available
  2. No classes past noon for most days
Lectures are not mandatory
  1. Recorded lectures are available
Exam styleExam style - In House and NMBE style combination
  1. After exams, can review NMBE questions with professors, but not the in house questions
  2. Many students say the exams are very boards-focused

Grading ScaleCourses in Years 1 and 2 use a satisfactory (S) and unsatisfactory (U) system of grading.

For required clerkships and sub-internships in Years 3 and 4, a 4-tiered system is used: Honors (H), High Pass (HP), Pass (P) and Fail (F). Clinical electives in Year 4 are graded pass (P) or fail (F)
All Phase 1 courses will be graded as Pass/Fail on the transcript.

Required Phase 2 clerkships are assessed using a competency-based system
and students are graded as Honors, High Pass, Pass, Fail. Elective courses in Phase 2 are graded as Credit/No Credit. Required Phase 3 track rotations (e.g., Sub-Internship, Emergency Medicine, and
Intensive Care Unit) and elective courses that involve direct patient care are
graded as Honors, High Pass, Pass, Fail. Elective courses in Year Four that do not involve direct patient care are graded as Credit/No Credit.

Sounds like NYMC - since they have more home programs, etc. Both are in a similar geographical region so if you have any support systems nearby they are probably equally accessible, no? Between these two I'd pick NYMC.
