Hey all, I’m a wound care physician with no derm background. I was hoping to get recommendations for derm resources (textbooks, online med-ed, etc.) for a non-dermatologist to become more familiarized with common/can’t-miss derm pathology. Would really like to have more sophistication in my derm referrals beyond “rash, pls help”. Thanks in advance.

Visual Dx is a great place to start. It will get your mind thinking in an algorithmic way when it comes to skin disease (distribution, morphology, time course, etc). For non derm trained folks, it's a great method to start learning things. I used it a decent amount as a resident when I was on the inpatient consult service.
